Pick HSL color from image
Upload a picture, click a pixel, and copy its HSL color value. Use the sampling radius to average nearby pixels.
How to use it
- 1
Choose an image and click the precise point you want to sample.
- 2
Set the sampling radius to zero for one pixel or raise it to average a nearby area.
- 3
Copy the HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV or CMYK value shown below the preview.
About this tool
The image is decoded locally in a canvas. Clicking chooses a source pixel; a radius of zero gives its RGB value, while larger radii average RGB values weighted by alpha. HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV and approximate CMYK are provided together.
Colors depend on browser color handling, image compression, transparency, and monitor rendering. This is a pixel sampler, not an automatic palette detector.
