GIF to BMP Converter
Convert GIF to BMP using a real file encoder. Control resolution, sharpening and color adjustments, plus lossy quality where supported. Animated GIF input uses the first frame only.
Why convert GIF to BMP?
Use BMP when your next application needs legacy image software and straightforward pixel exchange. GIF uses an indexed palette of up to 256 colors per frame; this still-image conversion reads only the displayed/first frame of animated GIFs.
The converter decodes the GIF image, applies your selected size or appearance adjustments, and writes BMP output. BMP provides simple raster pixel storage but usually creates larger files than web-oriented image formats.
